We moved to our brand new home at Abbotsweld Primary Academy in September 2021.
At Nurture Pre-School at Abbotsweld we are proud to offer fully funded places for 2-4 year olds with care provided by an experienced and dedicated team of Early Years Professionals.
We have three groups Daisys which is dedicated our two year old learners, Buttercups our Pre-School group ages 3& 4 and Bluebells our afternoon Pre-School age group.

Hours offered at Nurture Pre-School at Abbotsweld
▪ The pre-school is open 38 weeks each year, 5 days per week.
▪ We are closed during Essex County Council school holidays.
▪ We offer places for ages 2-4.
All sessions include a variety of healthy snacks and milk to drink.
We are open 8.50am – 3.50pm.
We believe that the best care should be accessible to everyone. For this reason, it is our promise to offer fully funded places with no additional costs. We offer the following types of care between the following times: we aim to be as flexible as possible so please speak to us about what would suit your child and family.
- Morning Place 8.50am to 11.50 am (fully funded five days a week, or £15.50 per session)
- Lunch Club 11.50am- 12.50 (£5.50, packed lunches provided by parent)
- Afternoon place 12.50pm noon to 3.50pm. (fully funded five days a week, or £15.50 per session)
- 30 hour funded all day sessions 8.50am to 2.50pm. This can be extended before and after by adding in the above sessions. (Fully funded five days a week, eligibility and 30-hour code must be submitted before your child’s place is confirmed)

In Safe Hands
Deeply embedded in everything we do is the idea that all children should be able to access the highest quality of Early Years Education possible and be given the best start in life. For this reason we have committed to providing core fully funded places. This means all of our children can access their place with us for no charge at all.
Funding we accept and what that means for you
Universal Funding. All children in the UK are eligible for 15 hours a week funding, 38 weeks of the year from the term after they turn three until they go to Primary School. This means a fully funded place in our morning or afternoon group!
Extended 30 hour funding. Some families are eligible for 30 hours a week funding, 38 weeks of the year! For you this means a fully funded place in our Red Group for our all day sessions! You can find the link bellow to see if you are eligible for 30 hour funding.
